About GD Equipment Inc..

Founded in 2002 by Mr. Guy Deschênes, Services d’Équipement GD Inc. was initially a company specializing in the manufacture and installation of snow removal equipment.

After 10 years in business, space was no longer sufficient to meet demand. In 2012, the company took possession of a building in the Portneuf region to continue manufacturing. From then on, the company will be self-sufficient at 100%, from raw iron cutting to bending, from fabrication to the sandblasting stage, via the paint room.

In 2014, Mr. François Robitaille and Ms. Marie-Josée Roussel join Mr. Deschênes to take on new challenges. At the same time, the company acquires the REKA brand, which specializes in the manufacture and installation of towing platforms.

In 2022, the shareholders of Déziel HMI Inc. acquired Services d’Équipement G.D. (GD / REKA / TT) and its three locations (Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures, Cap-Santé, and Marieville).

National standard.

For nearly 15 years, Services d’Équipements GD has held the national certification issued by the Ministry of Transportation. We are authorized to use and display the U59 certification on all vehicles coming from our workshops.

MADE IN CANADA SINCE 2002.

Our products are manufactured in Canada at our Cap-Santé plant in Portneuf. Our infrastructure enables us to manufacture from raw steel, using our 25' x 11' cutting table and numerous bending machines of various sizes. The plant employs more than 20 people to support our ever-growing customer base. We are also CWB W47.1 certified (welding company certification).
