Founded in 2002 by Mr. Guy Deschênes, Équipements GD Inc. was originally a company specializing in the manufacture and installation of snow removal equipment.

After 10 years in business, space was no longer sufficient to meet demand. In 2012, the company took possession of a building in the Portneuf region to continue manufacturing. From then on, the company will be self-sufficient at 100%, from raw iron cutting to bending, from fabrication to the sandblasting stage, via the paint room.

In 2014, Mr. François Robitaille and Ms. Marie-Josée Roussel join Mr. Deschênes to take on new challenges. At the same time, the company acquires the REKA brand, which specializes in the manufacture and installation of towing platforms.

In 2022, the shareholders of Déziel HMI inc. acquired the Service d'équipements G.D. group (GD / REKA / TT) and its 3 business locations (Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures, Cap-Santé and Marieville).
